Here is the northeastern part of the states it has been very cold, frigid even. Temperatures have dropped to single digits overnight, “warming” to the teens during the day. I don’t know about you but in weather like this I don’t want to make any more trips out than absolutely necessary. Hubby and I have spent our evenings enjoying the under the warmth of a cozy, fleece lined blanket, sipping herbal tea and reading.
So what is your preferred way to pass the time on long, cold winter nights?

staying in a lot…I blog…read…talk to friends…drink Hot Tea also…and sometimes bake or cook…I usually can find something to entertain me…
Same as you, but we keep our wood stove burning. I read, blog, e-mail, do inside projects. Just finished a quilt and have another in the making.
Quilting is such a nice way to pass the time on a cold day, the beauty of the project must add to the drab of winter’s long grayness.
Well it isn’t actually freezing here now but it still feels it so I’m staying wrapped up just like you!
Wrapping up is so comforting.
