These birds showed up recently at my backyard feeder. The bluebirds are a very unusual winter sight, I haven’t seen them since.

Thank you for the link. I appreciate you listing GWGT. You do have some great bird shots and I myself never photographed a bluebird. I never get to see them either. You can post them all day and I would never tire of their beauty.

whoaa, you got a great bird watching collection here. i love bluebirds. the color, so pretty. i recently put one of those seed sock things to hang on a tree but no birds ever come to it. how is a bird suppose to know there are seeds in the white sock!?! i think i will get a feeder that looks like yours…suet feeder. :p

This is too funny:) Seriously though you need to begin your bird feeding ventures at the beginning of a season because birds develop habits and feeding spots. If you’re not on the established flight path when those routines are being developed your feeder won’t get any visitors. I would suggest waiting until spring when the migrating birds return–put the food out then and watch the beauties come to feed.

okay, i plan to do this, although my sock feeder still hangs on the tree…waiting…maybe a crazy bird will want to explore it. đŸ™‚
