These birds showed up recently at my backyard feeder. The bluebirds are a very unusual winter sight, I haven’t seen them since.

  1. whoaa, you got a great bird watching collection here. i love bluebirds. the color, so pretty. i recently put one of those seed sock things to hang on a tree but no birds ever come to it. how is a bird suppose to know there are seeds in the white sock!?! i think i will get a feeder that looks like yours…suet feeder. :p

    • This is too funny:) Seriously though you need to begin your bird feeding ventures at the beginning of a season because birds develop habits and feeding spots. If you’re not on the established flight path when those routines are being developed your feeder won’t get any visitors. I would suggest waiting until spring when the migrating birds return–put the food out then and watch the beauties come to feed.
