  1. I think that cultivating a habit of feeling grateful for what we have, for finding the silver lining, for outright appreciation is such a wonderful thing. (I am 2/3 of the way through “100 Days of Gratitude” on my own blog.) But as an agnostic, I wrestle with the idea of thanking a deity for that which we have. (Heresy, I know.) But a paternalistic God doesn’t jibe somehow with the spiritual side of my own life. Anyway, I’ve found that trying to find at least three things to be grateful for each day has changed my attitude immeasurably.

    Someone would wake up with absolutely nothing! Give thanks to God throughout the day for the many blessings He’s given to U. What U are taking from granted, someone is faithfully praying for it.
